365.7/4/10: Day 181

Happy 4th of July!!!
An amazing beach day with my amazing family complete w/ a perfect full rainbow and a fire works show that literally and figuratively blew us away!

365.7/3/10: Day 180

Went to Andover to cheer on Argentina in the World Cup... all the boys had on their white and light blue strips (o:

365.7/2/10: Day 179

I'm making Red Velvet cake balls for 4th of July dessert. Mmmm... cream cheese frosting is an amazing thing.

365.6/28/10: Day 175

Living With The Land in Epcot.

Alex in front of 'Soarin... a ride that we just can't understand why there is such a hype about.

365.6/27/10: Day 174

Animal Kingdom... besides the rollarcoaster Expedition Everest the safari is the best part of the park. This elephant was only 3 months old. Very cute.

365.6/26/10: Day 173

Saw a lot of characters today (o:

365.6/25/10: Day 172

25th of the month, self portrait day! In the Japan Pavilion in Epcot, I did 'Pick-A-Pearl.' Here you choose an oyster, they do a whole little show for you, and you get to keep (err, well buy), the pearl that's in the oyster! I had mine (a very pretty blue-ish/silver pearl) mounted so that I can wear it on a necklace.

365.6/24/10: Day 171

'It's A Small World' is Alex's faaaavorite ride.

365.6/23/10: Day 170

Almost there!

Welcome to DISNEY (o:

365.6/22/10: Day 169

Did a lil shopping before our trip to Disney!

365.6/21/10: Day 168

The sun streaming through the curtains makes a tired Monday morning a bit better.

365.6/20/10: Day 167

These 2 make killer chocolate chip pancakes.

3 verrrry well behaved kids make this parenting thing seem easy.

... I really wanted to take more pics this weekend, however my new lens and camera suffered a tragic accident when I dropped it off the counter and onto my foot. New lens is broken )o: hopefully Hunt's Photo will be able to fix it!

365.6/19/10: Day 166

Waking up to this gorgeous, peaceful view... something I could get used to!

Miss Shauna Marion (o:

365.6/18/10: Day 165

365.6/17/10: Day 164

Got my new sneaks today (o:

... and I've learned that I am not cut out for online shopping. I am too much of an "instant gratification" type of person. Waiting for shoes, clothes or anything else for that matter, to come in the mail, drives me bananas.

365.6/16/10: Day 163

This might look like an empty parking lot to you... but to me, it's OUR empty parking space, which means my wonderful, lovely boyfriend left it empty for me (which he has been doing pretty much everyday lately), and he parked in the street (which isn't far away), but it really the little things that count. (o:

365.6/15/10: Day 162

My team from work went and volunteered for a local non-profit farm today (www.thefoodproject.org) We weeded, we planted. It was a beautiful day w/ good people, and what will be good food (come Fall)!

365.6/14/10: Day 161

Monday night chore... food shopping! Of course we use re-usable grocery bags... don't you?

365.6/13/10: Day 160

365.6/12/10: Day 159

Hanging out at Mayflower. A little back "massage" from the boys felt good after a long run the night before (o:

365.6/11/10: Day 158

2010 Seaside Stride 5k!
Our running group! This year was even better than last year... we had some additions to the running group, great weather, great food, drink and laughs, AND I finished in under 30 minutes. 29:07 I believe. Yes!

365.6/10/10: Day 157

Alex got new sneakers today... lucky. I tried to get new sneakers but apparently there isn't a sporting goods, or shoe store in the entire North Shore that stocks a size 6. Damn small feet.

365.6/9/10: Day 156

Some of the bamboo I've been able to keep alive.

365.6/8/10: Day 155

Ok, ok... my apologies, this is a poor excuse for a photo, mainly because I can't find any pics that I took this day! But I wanted to document that Di was home!! We went out for mexican (yes, I had mexican for dinner 2 nights in a row, and it was delish), and the girls and I were so busy chatting, that I don't think I took any pics... so sad. So here is my proof that Di was in town (o: our text msg chat about me coming to Winthrop.

365.6/7/10: Day 155

Someone mentioned burritos at the gym, so we were then compelled to go to Cielito Lindo for mexican for dinner. This place not only has amazing burritos (which some of you may remember from a previous post, when I mentioned that the measure of a good burrito is whether or not it can stand up on end), but this place has THE most delicious guac evvvvvvver. Legit... best ever.

365.6/6/10: Day 154

One of those "micro-bursts" ripped through Andover and took down a whole line of trees across the street from the Verdaguer's... a scary scene!

365.6/5/10: Day 153

A perfect Saturday morning. A good workout, free yoga, Atomic Cafe, reading Glamour in the sun while Alex practices guitar.

365.6/4/10: Day 152

Today was one of those days where the sky couldn't make up it's mind. It was dark and cloudy ahead of me, sunny blue sky behind.

365.6/3/10: Day 151

Bowl food! Asian chicken stir-fry from Wrapture. Mmmm.

365.6/2/10: Day 150

We've lived in our current apartment for over a year, and have never used the dishwasher. Yes, that's right... we actually use our dish washer like a closet, and store a few items in there (o: With only 2 people, and a limited amount of dishware, it's easier to just hand wash. But we ran out of dish soap, and w/ the torn up hands (which you saw in an earlier post), I welcomed the dishwasher for the past 2 nights.
