365.4/30/10: Day 117

I LOVE when my odometer reads a fun number... today I reached 12,345 miles...

... and I know, I know, I really need to get gas.

365.4/29/10: Day 116

One of the bajillion reasons I love him: Alex makes me a strawberry, banana, nut & fish oil smoothie every morning, and leaves it in the fridge for me... bendie straw and everything.

365.4/28/10: Day 115

After remembering to keep it watered, my peace lily has a new flower bud!

365.4/27/10: Day 114

We're having a good sky night in Beverly - and a certain someone let me know that Winthrop had an amazing one too (o:

365.4/26/10: Day 113

Monday's workout at the gym was "Fran," an infamous benchmark CrossFit workout. If you ever meet someone who does CrossFit, your first question to them should be, "so, what's your Fran time?" But annnyways... it's a BEAST of a workout - but I got a personal record, which I was pretty happy about, but I know I can do it faster!

365.4/25/10: Day 112

My lovely sis-in-law Kristen had a Love Your Look make-up party this afternoon, and it was AWESOME. Of course bought some sweet new make-up, that I can't WAIT to use (o:

I realized after the fact that Sunday was the 25th of April, which is suppose to be self-portrait day... but it was too late when I realized it, so you aren't getting a picture of my face, but at least it's a picture of stuff that goes ON my face.

365.4/24/10: Day 111

Sun setting over Boston, from Donovan's Beach in Winthrop.

365.4/23/10: Day 110

Alex is headed to Washington DC for the weekend, so I dropped him off at Logan, headed to Winthrop, and got in my PJ pants nice and early.

365.4/22/10: Day 109

I have a love/hate relationship w/ the J. Crew catalog. Love it because it's beautiful and filled w/ wonderful things, hate it because it's beautiful and filled w/ wonderful things that I can't afford.

365.4/21/10: Day 108

So walking by the vending machine at work this afternoon, these new fancy Doritos caugh my eye caught. Cheeseburger flavor!! Ugh, so gross. I felt I had to take a picture to prove that these actually exist. Then Whitney and I had a conversation on whether or not they could be considered vegetation or not.

Yuck.

365.4/20/10: Day 107

Not a great picture, but best I could do while driving. Not last Fall, but the year before we had a "Beautify EIC" day at work, and my team planted a whole bunch of bulbs in this area around the trees. Today, I noticed that they are starting to bloom (if you look closely, you can see the first flower... the tiny speck of yellow!).

The measure of a good burrito is if it can stand up on end by itself.

365.4/19/10: Day 106

Marathon Monday! Had an amazing day w/ friends - watching this marathon, cheering on all those runners (especially Corey!!!) was a truly inspiring experience.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARKY!!!

365.4/18/10: Day 105

Mini-birthday party for Dad and Mark (o:

365.4/17/10: Day 104

It was Alex and I against Devin, Kaleigh and Shauna tonight... and they were the perfect kids! I don't know what all these parents are talking about, this whole parenting thing seems easy (o;

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!

365.4/16/10: Day 103

A very rainy, cold Friday night... so gross that we declined FREE tickets to Fenway! I know... sorta tragic - but we had some food from Wrapture, and watched TV warm on the couch. I think the people at Wrapture are going to start knowing us by name soon.

365.4/15/10: Day 102

Remy, very patiently waiting for Mom to open and load the dishwasher (o:

365.4/14/10: Day 101

Definitely could be my new favorite store.

365.4/13/10: Day 100

Ummm... today was a standard day... work, gym, food shopping, dinner, so hadn't taken any pics yet... so last ditch effort, here is my dinner beverage of choice. Zazzzzzzz it up.

Update: The nasty bug from the previous post has retreated, and I am no longer held captive... I can open our slider anytime I want now.

365.4/12/10: Day 99

This guy showed up yesterday. He has made his way through a small hole in our screen door... so he's now living on the inside between our glass slider and the screen door, obviously preventing me to open the slider and let the nice fresh air in. He will remain there until Alex carefully escorts him outside, or he finds his way back out through the hole he came in.

Yes... this means that I am being held captive by a bug that's smaller than my pinky finger, but come onnnn, look how gross he is, look at all those legs, can you blame me?

365.4/11/10: Day 98

I love that spring is here. There were about 3 huge bumble bees gathering pollen from this bush - this is my best attempt at grabbing a shot of them in action.

365.4/10/10: Day 97

Another rugby Saturday. The O'Brien's came out in force to support the Wolfhounds. I forgot the battery to my camera, so grabbed this last minute picture of the blooming tree on the way out with my cell (o:

365.4/9/10: Day 96

Saw the movie Date Night on our date night tonight.

365.4/8/10: Day 95

We had only veggies in the fridge, so I went and picked up a pork chop for Alex and some thai peanut chicken skewers for me... delish.

365.4/7/10: Day 94

Today it reached nearly 90 degrees... so Alex and I took the first ride on the bike.

... don't worry Mom, we only went back and forth from the gym, and it's only about 1/2 a mile away (o:

365.4/6/10: Day 93

Monday's workout at the gym totally wiped me out... 55, 155 lb. deadlifts... my back is VERY unhappy w/ me, so this foam roller and I have become very close.

Tuesday, April 6, 2010

365.4/5/10: Day 92

Waking up on a Monday morning, opening the curtains and seeing all the buds on the tree outside our bedroom window.

365.4/4/10: Day 91

Easter Sunday.
Marky and Shauny

Nothin' quite like a fresh box of 64 count Crayolas

365.4/3/10: Day 90

Finally, a Saturday w/ beautiful weather. Made every attempt to enjoy it... ate lunch at Lynch Park in Beverly, drove some golf balls in Middleton (FYI, we are both awful at golf), rode bikes in Andover (thankfully, I still remember how to ride a bike).

Ok, one more pic... Sebastian, riding his bike.

365.4/2/10: Day 89

Our Friday afternoon, 2pm "HRD meeting" - a joy ride in Cath's convertible VW bug.

365.4/1/10: Day 88

Heaven in a cup.
